Hello!
This blog is administered by a part of the local organising committe for this year's nordic service design conference. The conference was organised in Oslo, Norway, in november last year and was a really nice event. (some nice reports for those of you who missed it, from: Joyce S R Yee, last year's organisers, Qin Han, Fergus Bisset) This year, the conference will be in Linköping, Sweden, at around the same time.
On this blog you will see posts from 3 people. Stefan Holmlid, who is an assistant professor and head of the interaction and service design research group (IxS) at Linköping university. He is also supervising the PhD projects of the two other writers, Fabian Segelström and Johan Blomkvist.
The purpose of this blog is to involve potential conference visitors in the creation of a good format for the conference. To do that, questions and reports from the planning process will be posted. Hopefully, we will have some good discussions about different topics, and find some good solutions and make the conference better.
There will also be a "regular" conference homepage where all the usual information about submission deadlines, keynotes and things like that will be available. This blog is intended more for discussions and exchange of ideas.
Hopefully you will find it meaningful.
